Bill and Emily were married in December and had a beautiful Christmas time wedding.
I have known Bill and Emily for quite a few years now through my friend Lauren and they are one of the most awesome couples that I know. [Actually, Lauren, Bill and I once performed a parody of the Crosy, Still, Nash and Young song “Our House” at a 50th Birthday party. Eh hm…don’t ask. :-)] So I was absolutely thrilled when they asked Lauri and I to photograph their wedding! It’s always so much fun when you really know your couples, what they like and don’t like and their personalities.
I spent the morning with Bill while Lauri was with Emily. Gotta love the multi-tasking!
Appropriately, the day really started for Bill with a soundcheck. Boy, I’m glad I was a photographer and not a singer at this wedding! Nothing more stressful than performing for a musician. :-)
I love how they’re just glowing coming back up the aisle after getting married.
haha…Bill capturing the moment of Emily’s dress being bustled in front of the church.
The reception was an incredibly fun time.
The night ended with Bill playing and singing for all the guests. I like when things come full circle like that. :-)
This is one of my favorite photos ever. This moment just cracks me up. I promise you that Bill is an extremely, extremely talented piano player/musician, but it certainly looks like Emily is in pain here. So funny.
Thank you so much Bill and Emily for making us feel so welcome at your wedding and choosing us to capture your special day. It was completely our pleasure.
Wow Katie, these are awesome!! I especially love the last few of Bill and Emily playing the piano. And also the one of them dancing. OH! And the first one too. :-)
