A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of spending the morning with William, Charlie and their awesome parents, Tom and Christine. We did some playing at the park near their house before heading off to Linvilla Orchards to shoot there for a bit. Even though, as Tom predicted, Charlie had had enough by the end of the shoot, I think both little guys did great for the hour + that we shot.
I couldn’t resist this early morning glow as we made our way to the park. Then, the playing ensued and I was just along for the ride. It’s funny how different photographing kids is from aaany other kind of photo session. Especially at this age, forget posing, they set all the rules. :-)
Two daredevils!!!
William got to play in Dad’s race car for a bit. I think the helmet might be a little big. :-)
Before heading out again, we gave the kids some time to wind down and warm up. Love some of these moments as they all sat on the couch together.
hehe. It looks like Charlie is getting into character here, but really he’s pushing with all his might to not put his head in that hole. He was not too thrilled. I think the tongue sticking out is the perfect touch though.
Ummm…let’s see…do you think Charlie was maxed out on photos? I love the moment anyway.
And finally, the highlight of the day! COOKIES! They were a big hit and no one cared about the camera at all.
I had such a blast with these little guys and I’m so excited to see how much they’ve grown by our Spring session. Will Charlie like me and my camera more or less? We’ll have to see! ;-)
Wow! The fact that the kids weren’t at all posed is what I think makes them so fantastic! I think everyone should have action photos of themselves in action as a kid. These are awesome!
Aww! I love these! You captured SO many awesome moments! What adorable kids!!! They must LOVE these! I want you to do pictures like this of my kids – you know, when I have them. :-)
Those pies look delicious. I love that picture of the witches hat. Seems like the family really had a great time. GOOD JOB!
