One thing that I really miss about my days shooting weddings, was getting to know the couples by shooting their engagement sessions beforehand. So, when Ashley contacted me to capture some photos of her and Matt before their destination wedding this December, I was thrilled. I especially love that Ashley put so much thought into their session and selected locations that were really meaningful to them as a couple. We started out at their favorite Conshohocken restaurant, Coyote Crossing, which not only has delicious food, but is also beautiful! Then we headed to a local restored barn to capture photos with some of their favorite books, photos of Ashley’s beloved horses and dogs as well as Matt’s beloved jeep. :-) Finally, we headed up to the main street in Conshohocken for a bit. Oh, and did I mention the three awesome outfits? Yeah, if this engagement session is any indication of how the wedding will be, I am very sorry that I wont’ be there to photograph it!
Here are some of my favorites from the afternoon. Enjoy!
These are so great! What a cute and fun couple! I feel like I got a glimpse into who they are as a couple through this session. Just beautiful! My favorite is the last cute series :)
Beautiful photos, Kate!
Wow, all that variety looks like several different photo shoots! Great photos!!!
