Two Little Princesses | Gwynedd Preserve Fall Family Session

I am so shocked that I never shared this lovely Fall family session. I actually went through my old posts twice because I was so sure that I must have shared it. How did I not share these adorable little girls? …and those fall colors!? There were even princess dresses, which is pretty much the cutest thing ever.

We headed to the Gwynedd Nature Preserve for their shoot and it did not disappoint. It had everything that I look for in parks in Autumn; wild grasses, the best Fall colors you could ask for, and the perfect golden light of sunset. It could not have been any better. These girls brought all of their spunky, fun energy and I love how you can see their personalities in these photos. Looking through their photos makes me happy and I’m glad that I finally got around to sharing them. Better late than never. :-)

One of my favorite things about newborn sessions is that I always photograph families in their homes. So I am able to not only capture those sweet little newborn shots and the updated family photos, but also all of the in between moments. The photos that I like the best are always the ones that I didn’t pose. I love the genuine moments that I get a chance to document, and this session was full of them. Toddler hair was put into adorable little pigtails, books were read, babies were rocked to sleep and dinosaurs were brought to life (with very effective sound effects from big sister, I might add).

This was my third session with this family, the first being when big sister was brand new. It is always such a pleasure to spend time with them, and to document their family as it grows and changes. Looking at these photos I am reminded of why I love my job, and my clients, so very much.

If you are expecting a new little one and are interested in a lifestyle newborn photography session, or are just excited to plan a documentary family session for your family, contact me today. Let’s chat and plan something great!

And if you love this adorable little family and just can’t get enough of them, I have good news! I also shot video at this session, so look for their family fusion film in an upcoming post, along with a super exciting announcement!

When I started photographing these guys, they were three, and now they are six! It’s hard to believe that it’s even possible. It was so great to see them again and to meet their two newest littles. Also, I am just in love with this mama’s sense of style. I can barely pull together a cohesive look for myself let alone six people! And the boots. And the flower crowns. I just adore this session and this sweet family.

I have been photographing this mom and dad since I photographed their BEAUTIFUL wedding and engagement session back in the day. They remain one of my favorite couples and catching up with them feels like seeing old friends. This was the first opportunity I’d had to meet their little girl. She did not disappoint, bringing all of her spunky energy to the session. We spent a couple of hours wandering the main street in Chestnut Hill and miss Lydia called all the shots. I could have photographed her all day but I think she was quite ready for a nap. I adore this little family and I hope I managed to capture how sweet and loving and funny they all are. <3
