Just wanted to post this one image from this engagement session that I’m so enjoying editing. :-) More soon…
Just a couple more photos of this adorable little girl and her mom. The camera loves them. :-) I also did a maternity shoot of mom on this same day and soon, I’m going to have some newborn photos of little Alivia to share. I can’t wait to meet her!
I love the way Adriana is looking up at her mom in the photo on the left.
A few weeks ago, Alex and Michael and I got together to do some engagement photos at the beautiful Ridley Creek State Park. I love shooting there because there’s so much variety, the mansion and woods and fields and even a horse stable area. Alex and Michael were cute and funny together, which always makes my job easier. We did a loop of the grounds and anything I suggested they were totally up for.
We took a walk in the woods for a bit.
We shot by the mansion for a while and I made them climb into this awesome tree. Not that they complained. I think they look so cool in there! And I love how Alex’s hair is catching the breeze. :-)
A little sun.
I love the moody feel in this little mansion nook.
I don’t think I’d mind living here at all.
See…cute together. :-)
I think Alex looks just plain hot in this one.
And my favs…the field. I have to give Alex and Michael a special thank you for agreeing to sit in this field. Let’s just say that there was more poop on the ground around here than one would typically care for. I think it was totally worth it though!
Alex and Michael, thank you…I can’t wait for your Awesome (capital A) wedding in January. :-)
So a couple of weeks ago, when Alissa and Roman were in town for Lauri and Mikey’s wedding, I did a little session of the two of them because Alissa asked so nicely. Apparently there is a large blank spot on the wall that is waiting to be filled wiht photos, so I hope some of these will do the job. ;-)
Alissa and Roman have a very romantic story which I will share quickly because I have to run and I know someone really wants to see these. This past New Year’s, Jason and I hosted a party. Alissa was of course coming down from Brooklyn, and Lauri and Mikey asked if it would be okay with us if they brought Mikey’s friend Chris, and his “international friend” Roman. My parties have always had a bring whoever policy, so of course I was good with that. The more the merrier. Well, Roman and Alissa hit it off. But I think everyone thought there was obviously no way anything would come of it…you know…since Alissa lived in Brooklyn and ‘international friend’, Roman, is from Germany and currently goes to school in Arizona. We were all WRONG! Alissa and Roman became friends on facebook (making relationships possible) and then he headed to Brooklyn to visit her for a night before going back to Arizona. From then on they kept in touch while Alissa traveled to Venice, Italy to study for several months and until Alissa graduated from Pratt, got a job and moved to Arizona in July. CRAZY! Roman is a great, great guy. They are perfect together…and I’m so happy for them both!
This session was lots of fun. We explored the Art Museum area and South Street and gave Roman a taste of Philly. I think we got some fun photos too…although it’s hard not to with how cute they are together.
Ending with this one because I LOVE it. :-)
SO pretty! I love this image! I also really like the processing. It’s so moody and beautiful. I can’t wait to see the rest of this session!! :-)
I love the way the grass looks in this photo and how it is light surrounding them, but darker in the background. :)
STUNNING!!!!!!!!!! Wow. I CANNOT wait to see the rest!
I love this picture! It looks beautifully natural, like you happened upon them taking an intimate stroll.
