A Wild First Birthday | Paoli Event Photographer

I started photographing Jack when he was a brand new baby and it has been so much fun seeing him grow. He is full of energy and personality and makes the. best. faces. He keeps me cracking up the whole time I’m photographing him.

When Jack’s mom asked me to photograph his first birthday party, and was deciding on a date, I had all of my fingers and toes crossed that our schedules would match up. Not only is Jack so very fun to photograph, but his mom has impeccable taste AND a background in home decor and event planning! So I was sure that his party was going to be perfect and full of eye-candy. I am happy to report that I was not disappointed. :-) You’ll have to forgive me that I went a little overboard on photos, but I couldn’t resist. Everything was carried out so beautifully and most importantly, Jack had the best time.

Sweet Senior | Lehigh Valley Senior Photographer

One of the things that I like best about my job is the variety. Needless to say, photographing a newborn is nothing like photographing a toddler, is nothing like photographing a high school senior. Each type of session has its own benefits and challenges. I love the quiet slow pace of working with a newborn and the crazy, CRAZY energy of chasing a toddler around, and I spend most of my time doing just that, which I have not a single complaint about. It IS a special treat when I get to work with a high school senior though. It feels like a collaboration and we can take the time to play and have fun.

This senior session was extra special, not only because she is the baby sister of a good college friend (and when I say baby, I mean that she was basically a toddler when we started college, which makes me so very, very old) but also because she was so enthusiastic about every aspect of the session and so on board with any idea that was shouted out. I literally could have stayed out all night photographing her if the sun had only stayed up. Stand barefoot in this alley? Okay! Balance on this tree limb? Of course! Run repeatedly through a fountain when you have no change of clothes and an hour drive home? Sign me up!!! I liked it, I liked it very much. :-)

In addition to being possibly the sweetest senior alive, she is a track and soccer star, and gorgeous…did I mention gorgeous? Here are just some of the photos from her session although I could have shared them all. She is a natural.

Baby + Autumn | Haverford Family Photographer

I photographed this sweet little face when she was born and again this past Fall when she was almost a year old. I’m happy to say that she was equally cute and sweet on both occasions and even more smiley this last time. She enjoyed the ducks and eating leaves (well, trying to eat leaves anyway) and she really enjoyed her first time up on dad’s shoulders…which was pretty much the cutest thing ever. I just love this little family and watching this sweet little baby grow.

Tu Eres Mi Mundo | Conshohocken Newborn Photography

This newborn session from earlier this year makes me so very happy. Babies who sleep and wake up at all the right moments make my job even lovelier than it already is. And isn’t she a stunning little peanut?

Aren’t the little details in her nursery so great?

Little toes and lashes and ears and lips. Sigh.

Babies + Sunglasses = Best. Ever.

Yes, I of course had to include one of the puppy sibling. I can never resist. :-)

My name is Katie! I love color and pretty light and happy faces and sessions that include all of those things. Photographing families like yours, capturing the essence of what makes you unique, is my passion. I want to get to know you and to tell a story that is authentically yours.
