Helloooooo Spring! | Prophecy Creek Park Family Photography

I have absolutely no idea how I haven’t blogged this family session sooner, but with the beautiful, [FINALLY] Spring-like weather today, I can’t think of a better time to share. This gorgeous family was wonderful to photograph. After shaking off some photo session jitters in the beginning, they were naturals.

I had trouble narrowing down my favorites, but here they are!

Happy Friday and yay Spring! :-)

Down on the Farm | Schwenksville Maternity Photography

When Michelle contacted me to tell me that she was expecting baby number two, I was so excited. Michelle’s first maternity session is one of my all time favorites and I was super excited to see Miss Sara Grace, who I hadn’t seen since her newborn session. This time around she was just shy of her second birthday and it’s funny how although she has of course changed a ton since then, she is also very much the same. She was a spunky newborn and she’s a spunky two year old too. My kind of girl. :-)

I may or may not have come home after this shoot and told Jason that we just have to live on a farm. Isn’t their farm the best?

We were not thrilled with the horses. We liked them much better off in the distance, nice and tiny. I think Sara Grace’s face is so cute here though.

These are by far my favorites. They just seem like what childhood should be like and they make me smile very big.

Can’t wait to share little sister’s newborn photos…and of course more of Sara Grace. ;-)

Full of faces! | Bethlehem Lifestyle Family Session

I just love photographing Lauri and her family any time they’ll let me (poor Mikey has been forced to put up with far more photo sessions than I think he’d care for, although thankfully he’s a good sport about it). Miss Fin makes the best faces. I have been photographing her since she was a tiny babe and I can’t believe what a little person she’s suddenly become. She’s full of opinions – as most 2 year olds are – and talks up a storm and makes my job so much fun.

This particular session, we headed to downtown Bethlehem for some laid back hanging out. We strolled down Main Street, chased a band up the block, hugged a pumpkin, sang itsy bitsy spider and just generally had a fun afternoon. Here are a whole bunch of my favorites. :-)

Do you see what I mean about the faces?! The best!

Derek Turns 1 | West Chester Event Photographer

Last year, Derek turned one and I was lucky enough to join his MANY friends and family to capture the event. It was like a wonderland for the kids with a bouncy castle, music and dancing, games and of course, cake. It was so much fun for me to capture all the happy little faces.

We started out with a few portraits of the birthday boy.

As I arrived, Derek’s parents and grandparents were still busily setting up since there were torrential downpours the night before, into the morning. Everything got done though and the Airport theme was adorable. I loved that Derek Airlines cupcake cake!

I don’t think there are too many kids that don’t love bouncy castles.

The entertainment was the big hit of the day though. The kids and parents gravitated towards the music and games, even with everything else there was to do.

My personal favorite from when I was a kid, parachute games!

I’m so glad I could be there for such a happy day for little Derek. :-)
