I love, love, loved my session with this family. Kate had contacted me to set up the shoot because her and her husband needed some new professional shots, they hadn’t gotten any photos together since their wedding and she wanted to include their two adorable dogs in some shots. She also wanted to include her parents in the shoot which I was very much excited about. I find that professional family photos are usually reserved for special occasions like weddings once kids have grown up and moved out…but really, why should that be the case? So anyway, in the heart of the fall I headed out to their home for the shoot. They were funny and quick to laugh and willing to tramp through the soggy weeds to sit on a dead tree trunk.
