After postponing our original session because of a rainy forecast we eventually wound up shooting Katie & Dave’s engagement session on an extremely humid day with ominous looking clouds threatening the whole time. Oh weather, WHY have you been so bad this year?! The rain held off though and we didn’t let the sticky air stop us from having a great session. We shot at The Waterworks and The Art Museum. Even though I’ve shot there before, it is such a beautiful location that it’s always fun to explore it with a new couple.
Katie and Dave were great in front of the camera and made it really easy for me to get cute moments with the two of them. These are just a few of my favorites.
They were great at cracking each other up, which of course I love. :-)
Twirling!
I just love this one. It’s got such a classic feel to me.
I can’t wait for the Fall wedding!
Yay! I’m one of Katie’s bridesmaids, these pictures are so great and really capture how adorable they are together! I can’t wait for the wedding!!!
Thank you so much, Katie! These are wonderful and truly capture how in love we are and how much fun we have together. I’ve showed these to a few people already and they really enjoy your journalistic style! We can’t wait for the wedding!
I love these! Wow! The second one from the bottom is my favorite, but really I love them all! Once again, awesome work Katie!
Great photos. This was a really photogenic couple. I love the last photo with the tree in the background. Very nice.
What an adorable couple! She has beautiful hair. They look like so much fun! Love all of these but my fav is definitely the last one. So romantic. :-)
Great pictures! My favorites are the twirling one and the 8th from top – love the greenery in the background surrounding them.
