Heather is one of my past brides and she won the contest last March, so just before the end of 2011, we were finally able to get her entire family together for their photo session (her brother flew in from California and did not enjoy the chilly December weather :-)! I was extremely excited when she decided to have the session at her parents’ farm because it is for sure, among the top five places that I have ever worked. Also, Heather & Chris’s wedding is among my top five favorite weddings ever and her family is incredibly funny and fun to hang out with, so this was a welcome reunion of sorts.
Here are some of my favs from the session!!
The session was meant to be a bit of a celebration of Heather’s parents’ 30th wedding anniversary, so of course we had to get some shots of just the two of them.
This location was comfortable for no one…but they were such good sports about it! :-)
This set of photos cracks me up every time I look at them.
Heather’s brother’s reaction to his dad’s kiss is so very different from her mom’s reaction. haha!
LOVE this shoot! One of my favorites is in the location where no one was comfortable, so…totally worth it! Haha! Also the last one with dad’s kiss just cracks me up! What an adorable family!! I’m sure they will treasure these forever!
Aww, these are wonderful! The farm really is a beautiful backdrop. I remember their wedding pictures, too! So sweet. :)
Katie – As always, your photos are incredible! We just love them and enjoy having you visit us. You capture our family’s personality in all its craziness! Thank you!!!!
Out of all your beautiful wedding shoots, this couple’s was my favorite! Think I might just go find it!
